The KSI 12-1CS Series IV ceiling mount subwoofer is the ideal choice for extended low frequency reproduction when mounting in a 2×2 grid is specified. As with all KSI ceiling mount loudspeakers, the 12-1CS offers exceptional performance, solid bass response and high dynamic range.

The KSI 12-1CS features our high power 1258-8 12” cast frame transducer producing very smooth extended low frequency reproduction in a small enclosure that is a requirement of a 2×2 grid mounting system. The 1258-8 features a 2” high temperature voice coil and powerful magnet structure, making the 12-1CS highly efficient at converting electrical energy into acoustical energy. To enhance performance, the 12-1CS incorporates an optimally vented, stiff and lightweight enclosure. To provide the best performance, the 12-1CS should be connected to a high quality power amplifier and an active crossover. The recommended crossover frequency should be no higher than 250 hz.
