"An essential resource for developing electronic image editing skills."
Who has time to go through a 500 page book to learn Photoshop Elements? With Learn Elements 3 in a Day, students and teachers can get a good grip on the program in just three or four hours. Using the included image files, readers work through a series of short exercises, broken down into straight-forward, step-by-step instructions. The book makes extensive use of screen shots to provide a visual approach.
Learn Elements 3 in a Day now includes a chapter on the Organizer. This part of Elements 3 (Windows only) helps you download and catalog your digital photos. An exciting addition for school use is Elements' capability for creating greeting cards, scrapbook pages, slide shows and even web photo galleries. The tutorial walks you through the creation of all of these projects using the included photo files or your own pictures.
For those students or schools that don't own Elements 3, the book comes with a CD that include 30-day trial versions of Elements for both Windows and Macintosh computers. If you are still using Elements 1 or 2, the CD has a file you can print out to learn how to use those versions. Additional chapters of the book include more than fifty Elements and digital imaging tips and tricks.
