Nikon 67mm Circular Polarizer II Lens Filter

In general terms, light that is reflected off the surface of water, glass, or another shiny object is polarized and can adversely affect image quality. A circular polarizing filter will reduce or in some cases eliminate these unwanted reflections and increase the overall contrast or apparent definition of subjects in low-contrast situations.

Usually, light from the sky is polarized in bands that can cause reflections and dispersions in the air. A circular polarizing filter reduces or removes these reflections, making a blue sky more vivid and intensifying colors.
