The RPS Studio Wireless Shutter Release is extraodinarly convenient because it unitlized RF Radio Frequency to remotely control your camera's shutter release. This method eliminates the need for a wired/cable connection or having a direct line of sight as required with infrared remotes. You can control your camera's shutter at a distance of up to100 feet even around most obstructions. The transmitter has a 2 position switch so that you can prefocus and lock the exposure before releasing the shutter; similar to the shutter release on your camera. LED lights indicate prefocus and exposure. You can select up to 16 channels to avoid interference with others. Designed to fit specific cameras.
