The SA-82 provides guaranteed surge protection and power conditioning for audio, video, broadcast and computer equipment. The units are 8-amp load-capable and have 2 industrial grade grounded AC receptacles. The SA-82 utilizes our patented Series Mode#174; surge protection technology, Impedance Tolerant#174; EMI/RFI filtering and Over-Voltage-Shutdown which automatically restores power when line voltage returns to a safe level. The units compact design can be easily integrated with todays Flat Panel monitor mounting systems. The FlatPak#8482; SA-82 comes with a detachable IEC power cord and universal mounting brackets.SurgeX Series Mode technology is superior to conventional MOV circuitry or MOV-Hybrid designs and is completely non-sacrificial. The SA-82 provides the most reliable protection available. It stops all surges up to 6,000 volts (unlimited surge current) without producing harmful side effects such as ground contamination or common-mode disturbances.
