Heat sensitive: Working as an efficient heat sink, the entire body of this reader draws heat away from your card. This is tremendously important when working at these high speeds. The reader also supports the thermal throttling protection feature built into all CFx-B cards.

Interchangeable cable: A USB4 USB-C to USB-C cable is included for maximum speed. This cable can be removed from the reader and swapped for any other data cable that has USB-C on one end to connect to the reader. For example, if you need to connect to an older computer, just use a USB-C to USB-A cable.
