EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY/NON HARASSMENT POLICY
Camcor, Inc. provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, or disability to the full extent required of the Company under applicable local, state, and federal laws.
The Company also expressly prohibits any form of unlawful employee harassment based upon race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or status in any group protected by local, state, or federal law. Any improper interference with Employees will not be tolerated, must immediately be reported, and can result in discipline up to and including discharge.
More specifically, it is the policy of the Company not to discriminate against any employee or applicant with regard to sex. It is further the policy of the Company not to tolerate sexual harassment by any of its employees in or at the work place.
Harassment based upon sex is a violation of Title VII of the 1964 Civil Rights Act, and of the Company’s general policies. Unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature constitute sexual harassment, especially if:
- Submission to such conduct is made either explicitly or implicitly a term or condition of an individual’s employment;
- Submission to or rejection of such conduct by an individual is used as the basis for employment decisions affecting such individual; or
- Such conduct has the purpose or effect of unreasonably interfering with an individual’s work performance or creating an intimidating, hostile, or offensive working environment.
Any employee or applicant who feels that they have been discriminated against or harassed based on sex, race, or any other factor, shall immediately, without fear of reprisal, report such incident to the President. The Company will immediately investigate and take appropriate action.
In determining whether or not alleged conduct constitutes sexual harassment, or any other form of prohibited harassment, all relevant factors will be investigated and considered, including the totality of the circumstance, the nature of the harassment, and the conduct in which the alleged incident occurred.
The Company considers harassment on the basis of sex, or of any type to be a serious offense, and such offense can result in discipline up to and including discharge.
