It converts a C14 plug into a NEMA 5-15P connector and is ideal for a device's built-in power cord that doesn't match the available outlet. You can use this adapter to connect a computer, monitor, printer, scanner or other device with a C14 connector to a NEMA 5-15R wall outlet, surge protector or UPS system. The C13 end is designed at an angle, which allows you to use it in tight spaces, such as flush against a wall or behind furniture.
